Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, ideally 20ft x 10ft area, with a height clearance of 10 feet. A dedicated aisle space of 8 feet wide is required adjacent to the storage area.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent moisture buildup. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. The floor should be level and capable of supporting the weight of stored items.
Special Handling: Edges are considered fragile. Each item requires individual padding with bubble wrap and cardboard. Palletizing is recommended for larger quantities, using 4x4 feet pallets. Fragile stickers should be applied to every item.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stacked to a maximum height of 6 feet. Utilizing adjustable shelving units with a 36” shelf height is recommended. Pallet storage is acceptable, with a maximum pallet height of 8 feet.
Access Requirements: A standard 12ft wide loading dock is needed for truck access. The primary access door should be a minimum of 9 feet wide with a clear opening of 10 feet. A minimum of 10 feet of clearance space is required at the loading dock for truck maneuverability. A secondary access door, 6ft wide, is also recommended.
