Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 12ft x 12ft area, Height clearance: 10 feet. A dedicated aisle space of 5 feet wide is required alongside each storage area.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The space must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and maintain a stable environment. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Custom cabinets are generally sturdy but should be protected with padding during movement. Fragile components or delicate hardware should be individually wrapped in bubble wrap or foam. Palletize larger cabinets for ease of handling.
Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable heights are recommended to accommodate varying cabinet sizes. Pallet storage is acceptable for larger, heavier cabinets. Max stacking height: 6 feet.
Access Requirements: A standard 12ft x 10ft loading dock is required for truck access. Door width: 10 feet. A clearance of 8 feet is needed at the dock to allow for maneuvering. Forklift access is necessary for moving cabinets; a forklift capable of lifting at least 3,000 lbs is recommended.
