Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 sq ft, 20ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 10 feet. Allow for at least 4ft between stacks and shelving.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage space, well-ventilated area with minimal dust and debris. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage.
Special Handling: Counter tops are considered fragile items. All items must be individually wrapped with protective padding – bubble wrap or foam padding is required. Pallet wrap is recommended for added protection. Handle with care to avoid scratching or chipping.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored on pallets (48” x 40” pallets recommended) or on adjustable shelving units with a maximum shelf height of 6 feet. Stacking should be limited to a maximum of 3 pallets high for stability.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft wide x 12ft deep bay door for truck access. A clear aisle space of at least 10ft width is required for forklift maneuverability. Doorway clearance of 10ft is necessary for easy access. Utilize a forklift capable of lifting at least 1,500 lbs per pallet.
