Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 15ft x 13ft area. Height clearance: 12 feet. Dedicated storage bays should be a minimum of 8ft x 6ft.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage, located in a well-ventilated area. The warehouse floor should be level and clean to prevent damage. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: “Trees” are considered fragile and require substantial padding, including foam wrapping and cardboard dividers. Each item must be individually secured with straps or shrink wrap to prevent movement during storage and retrieval. Pallet dimensions should be 48” x 40” for optimal protection.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored on pallets, stacked no more than 4 units high. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are recommended, with shelf spacing no greater than 12 inches. Pallet racking is also a viable option.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a minimum width of 12 feet and a door opening of 10 feet. A clear aisle space of 8 feet is required for forklift maneuverability. Ensure adequate overhead clearance for equipment access, a minimum of 14 feet.
