Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, 20ft x 10ft area. Height clearance: 10 feet. This allows for approximately 50 rolls of standard 6-yard rolls of lyocell fabric.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area should be well-ventilated to prevent any musty odors. Avoid storing near sources of direct sunlight or excessive heat. Flooring should be level and easily cleaned.
Special Handling: Lyocell fabric is considered a delicate material. Each roll should be wrapped in protective padding (bubble wrap or similar) to prevent abrasion and snags. Palletized loads should be secured with shrink wrap to maintain stability.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended. Pallets should be 48” high to accommodate standard roll sizes. Shelving units with adjustable shelves could be used if pallets are not preferred, with shelves spaced 12” apart. Avoid stacking more than three pallets high for safety.
Access Requirements: A standard 12ft x 10ft loading dock is required. Door width: 9 feet. A minimum clearance of 8 feet is needed at the loading dock for forklift maneuvering. Forklift access is necessary for efficient loading and unloading. Adequate aisle space of 8ft is needed between pallet locations.
