Safeguard Your Organic Pigments: Secure Storage Solutions.
Storing organic pigments within a robust warehouse facility offers significant advantages for maintaining their vibrant color and stability. Proper warehousing is key to preserving the integrity of these valuable materials, safeguarding their inherent color characteristics and ensuring consistent performance across applications. Our warehouse design prioritizes protection from direct sunlight, a major contributor to pigment degradation. Dedicated storage bays, arranged with ample space between units, minimize dust accumulation and potential abrasion. Utilizing sturdy, non-reactive shelving materials—such as steel or powder-coated metal—is crucial to prevent any unwanted chemical interactions. Regular visual inspections of the pigments are recommended to identify any changes in color or consistency. Strategic pallet racking systems allow for efficient inventory management and easy access, simplifying the logistics of receiving and shipping. A well-organized warehouse environment, coupled with careful handling practices, guarantees the longevity and exceptional color depth of your organic pigments – a cornerstone of your product’s quality. Finally, a dedicated, organized space maximizes operational efficiency and minimizes the risk of damage during movement.
Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 15ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 12 feet. Allow for a 3ft wide aisle for forklift access.
Storage Conditions: The area must be dry and well-ventilated. Surfaces should be smooth and easily cleanable. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Dust and debris should be regularly removed. Store materials on pallets to minimize direct contact with the floor.
Special Handling: Organic pigments can be fragile. Each container should be individually padded with sufficient protective material (cardboard, bubble wrap) to prevent damage during handling. Containers should be handled with care to avoid dropping or impact. Clearly label all containers with handling instructions.
Stacking/Shelving: Utilize pallet racking to maximize vertical storage. Pallets should be stacked no more than 4 high. Shelving units with adjustable height levels are recommended for smaller containers. Ensure shelving is strong enough to support the weight of stacked materials.
Access Requirements: Loading dock: 10ft x 12ft, minimum 8ft door width. A 10ft clearance space is required alongside the dock for forklift maneuverability. A secondary access door, 8ft wide, should also be available for personnel access. Forklift operation should be carefully managed to prevent damage to the stored materials.
