Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, with an area of 15ft x 13.3ft. Height clearance: 12 feet. Allow for a 3ft aisle space around each stack.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage area, ideally with good ventilation to minimize dust accumulation. The space should be protected from direct sunlight to prevent potential material degradation.
Special Handling: Tubes are considered fragile. Each tube should be individually wrapped in protective padding (cardboard or bubble wrap) to prevent damage during handling and stacking. A minimum of 2 inches of space should be maintained between tubes during storage.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended, utilizing 48” high pallets. Shelving units with adjustable shelves, capable of supporting a maximum load of 500 lbs per shelf, can be used for vertical space optimization. Stacking height should not exceed 4 pallets.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft x 12ft access area. Warehouse door width: 10 feet. A clear clearance space of 8 feet is required for forklift maneuverability around each storage area. Ensure the floor is level and capable of supporting heavy loads.
