Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, with an area of 12ft x 16ft recommended. Height clearance of 10 feet is required to accommodate stacked carboys.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated to prevent moisture buildup. Adequate airflow is crucial. The floor should be level and constructed of a durable, easy-to-clean material, such as concrete or epoxy.
Special Handling: Glass carboys are fragile. Each carboy should be individually padded with foam or bubble wrap prior to storage to protect against damage during handling and stacking. Personnel should handle carboys with care, using appropriate lifting equipment.
