Secure Hammer Floats: Expert Warehouse Storage Solutions
Hammer Floats benefit immensely from secure, dry warehouse storage, providing a robust and organized solution for your inventory needs. Selecting a warehouse with high ceilings and robust racking systems allows for optimal space utilization and efficient retrieval, minimizing handling and reducing the risk of damage during access. The warehouse environment, when properly managed – focusing on dust mitigation and consistent airflow – offers a stable and predictable setting for storing these products. Consider utilizing pallet racking systems to maximize vertical storage and ensure easy movement with forklifts. Regular inspections of stored units are crucial to maintain product integrity and prevent any potential issues related to dust accumulation. Strategic placement within the warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high-traffic areas, will further protect the Floats from potential damage. A warehouse's inherent security measures also provide enhanced protection against theft and unauthorized access, contributing to the overall value of your inventory. Furthermore, a warehouse’s dedicated storage solutions provide a reliable and scalable storage option to meet your growing business demands.
Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, 15ft x 13ft area, Height clearance: 9 feet. Allow for a 3-foot aisle width for forklift access.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is required. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and maintain a stable environment. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Ensure the floor is level and capable of supporting the weight of stored items.
Special Handling: Hammer Floats are considered fragile items. Each unit should be individually wrapped in protective foam padding. Stacking should be limited to a maximum of 3 units high to prevent damage during handling. Use cardboard corner protectors on all edges.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended. Utilize 48” high shelving units with adjustable shelves to accommodate different Hammer Float sizes. Consider utilizing narrow aisle racking to maximize storage density.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft wide x 12ft deep bay is required. The primary access door should be a minimum of 8ft wide with a clear opening of 7ft. A minimum of 8ft of clearance space is needed at the loading dock for forklift maneuvering. Secondary access door: 6ft wide x 8ft high.
