Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 80 square feet or a 10ft x 8ft area. Height clearance: 12 feet is recommended to allow for stacking.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Dust and debris should be regularly removed. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Hampers are generally robust, but they should be protected from significant impacts. Consider using cardboard corner protectors or padding for individual hampers to minimize potential damage during handling.
Stacking/Shelving: Hampers can be stacked to a maximum of 3 units high. Shelving units with adjustable heights are ideal. Pallet storage is acceptable if hampers are securely placed on pallets. Pallet size: 48” x 40”.
Access Requirements: Loading dock needs a minimum 12ft wide x 16ft long access area. The warehouse door should be at least 9ft wide for easy access. A clearance space of 3ft around each storage area is required for forklift maneuverability. Forklift capacity: 5,000 lbs.
