Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, or an area of 12ft x 12ft. Height clearance: 12 feet. A dedicated aisle space of 5 feet wide is required for access.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. Surfaces should be level and free from debris. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Storage should occur on a solid floor.
Special Handling: Cartridges are considered fragile items and should be individually wrapped in protective padding (bubble wrap or foam) during storage. Palletizing is recommended for larger quantities. Items should be handled with care to prevent damage.
Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable shelves are recommended. Max stack height: 5 shelves, with a maximum item height of 3 feet. Pallet storage is acceptable, utilizing standard 48” x 40” pallets. Ensure pallet stability.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 10ft wide x 10ft deep bay is required. The primary access door should be a minimum of 8ft wide with a clear opening of 6ft. A minimum of 3ft of clearance space is needed alongside the loading dock for forklift maneuvering. Ensure adequate lighting within the storage area.
