Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 100 square feet per package type, with a suggested area of 10ft x 10ft for smaller items. Height clearance: 14 feet to accommodate stacking. Pallet dimensions should be no larger than 48” x 40”.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is required. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and maintain air quality. Avoid direct sunlight exposure to minimize potential fading of packaging or product materials.
Special Handling: Fragile items require protective padding, including bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard boxes. Heavy items should be supported with bracing. All items should be clearly labeled with handling instructions.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended for larger quantities. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are suitable for smaller packages. Maximum stacking height: 5 shelves, with a maximum weight capacity of 500 lbs per shelf.
Access Requirements: Loading dock needs a minimum width of 12 feet and a door width of 10 feet. A clearance space of 10 feet surrounding the loading dock is required for truck maneuvering. Forklift access is essential for efficient movement. Ensure aisles are a minimum of 8 feet wide.
