Secure Your Construction Paper: Safe, Dry, & Ready.
Construction paper offers a remarkably stable product for warehouse storage, providing a reliable and cost-effective solution for your inventory needs. Its inherent characteristics – primarily paper composition and minimal dimensional changes – make it exceptionally well-suited to a standard warehouse environment. Proper storage begins with careful stacking; utilizing pallet racking maximizes space and allows for efficient retrieval. Maintain consistent stacking heights to prevent potential damage and ensure easy access to all rolls. It’s crucial to store paper in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and potential sources of dust or debris. Regular inspections are key to identifying any minor compression or distortion, allowing for proactive adjustments to your stacking procedures. Warehouse facilities provide a secure, organized space, safeguarding your supply from external elements. The robust infrastructure of a warehouse ensures stability and protection, and its broad reach enables convenient access for your distribution network. Furthermore, warehouse storage offers scalable solutions to meet your evolving inventory demands, supporting efficient order fulfillment and minimizing the risk of damage during handling.
Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, with dimensions of 20ft x 10ft. Height clearance: 10 feet to accommodate standard pallet stacking.
Storage Conditions: The storage area should be dry and well-ventilated. Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent fading. The floor should be level and clean to prevent damage to the paper.
Special Handling: Construction paper is considered a fragile item. Palletized shipments should be unpacked carefully. Individual rolls or sheets require padding with cardboard or bubble wrap to prevent tearing or creasing.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is recommended, utilizing standard 48” high pallets. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are acceptable, allowing for varied roll sizes. Stacking height should not exceed 5 shelves or 48” per stack to maintain stability.
Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft wide access door is required. A minimum clearance of 8ft is needed at the loading dock for forklift operation. The door should be at least 96” wide to accommodate large rolls. Forklift access should be 24” minimum.
