Protect Your Woodstain: Secure Storage Solutions Here!
Storing woodstain within a robust warehouse facility offers significant advantages for product protection and longevity. Warehousing provides a secure, stable environment critical for maintaining the integrity of this sensitive material. Woodstain formulations, often containing oils and pigments, benefit from the consistent, dry conditions a warehouse offers, minimizing issues like skinning, viscosity changes, and color shifts. Proper racking systems and pallet storage maximize space utilization, ensuring efficient inventory management. Dedicated shelving units are ideal for organizing different stain types and batch sizes. Regular inspections are vital to monitor container integrity and prevent damage from impact or shifting. Strategic placement, away from direct sunlight and extreme fluctuations in airflow, further safeguards the product. A warehouse’s inherent structural stability and security features – including access control and theft prevention – provide a peace of mind for your business. Utilizing a warehouse ensures consistent product quality and reliable supply for your customers.
Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 150 square feet, 15ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 10 feet. A dedicated aisle of 5 feet width is required for access.
Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated. The floor should be level and easily cleanable. Avoid direct sunlight exposure. Store woodstain away from sources of heat or ignition.
Special Handling: Woodstain containers are considered fragile. All containers must be individually padded with appropriate material (bubble wrap, cardboard) to prevent damage during handling and stacking. Clearly label all containers with handling instructions.
Stacking/Shelving: Shelving units with adjustable height levels are recommended. Shelves should be sturdy enough to support the weight of stacked containers. Pallet storage is acceptable if the floor is level and the pallets are appropriately sized (48" x 40"). Maximum stacking height should be limited to three containers per shelf.
Access Requirements: The warehouse loading dock should have a minimum door width of 12 feet. A clearance space of 10 feet behind the loading dock door is required for truck maneuvering. Forklift access is essential for moving containers. The floor must be suitable for forklift traffic.
