Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 15ft x 13ft area. Height clearance: 12 feet to accommodate full-size searchlights.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is required. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and potential corrosion. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Searchlights are considered fragile items. Each unit should be individually wrapped in protective foam padding and secured with straps. Pallet dimensions: 48” x 40” for easy handling. A minimum of 6 inches of space around each unit is required for access.
Stacking/Shelving: Searchlights can be stored on pallets with a 48” x 40” footprint. Utilize shelving units with adjustable shelves, spaced 12 inches apart, to maximize vertical storage. Stacking is permitted up to a maximum of 3 pallets high, ensuring stability.
Access Requirements: Loading dock should be 12ft wide and 24ft long. Warehouse door width: 10 feet. A clearance space of 8 feet is needed adjacent to the storage area for forklift operation. A minimum of 10 feet of aisle space between shelving units is necessary for access.
