    Space Requirements

    • Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 300 square feet, with an area of 15ft x 20ft. Height clearance: 12 feet to accommodate standard pallet racking.
    • Storage Conditions: Dry storage area, located away from direct sunlight and sources of dust. The space must be well-ventilated to prevent mold growth and maintain air quality.
    • Special Handling: Repair components are generally robust, but individual items, particularly electronic parts and small fasteners, should be packaged in protective foam or bubble wrap to prevent damage during handling and storage. Fragile components require extra padding.
    • Stacking/Shelving: Pallet racking (48" wide x 54" deep) is recommended for efficient storage of bulk items. Shelving units (adjustable shelves, 36" wide x 24" deep) can be used for smaller components and tools. Max stacking height: 8 feet.
    • Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft x 16ft area for truck access. Dock door width: 10 feet. A minimum clearance of 8 feet is needed around the loading dock to allow for maneuverability. Aisles should be 5 feet wide for forklift access.
    • Inventory Management: Utilize a barcode scanning system for accurate tracking and inventory control. Regular inspections of the storage area are crucial to identify and address any potential issues.
