    Space Requirements

    • Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 15ft x 13ft area. Height clearance: 12 feet is recommended for efficient storage.
    • Storage Conditions: The storage area must be dry and well-ventilated to prevent mildew or mold growth. Regular inspections for dust and debris are crucial.
    • Special Handling: Paper sheets are considered fragile. Each stack should be padded with cardboard or foam to prevent damage during handling and stacking. Protect individual sheets with plastic interleaving.
    • Stacking/Shelving: Utilize pallet racking to store stacks of paper sheets, with a maximum pallet height of 8 feet. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are also suitable for smaller quantities. Ensure shelving is sturdy and can support the weight of stacked paper.
    • Access Requirements: A loading dock with a 12ft x 10ft access area is required for delivery trucks. The warehouse door should be a minimum of 9 feet wide for easy access. A clearance space of 4 feet around each pallet is necessary for forklift operation.
    • Material Handling: Forklifts or pallet jacks are needed for moving materials. Proper training on handling fragile items is essential for warehouse staff. Maintain a clean and organized storage environment to minimize the risk of damage.
