Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, or a 15ft x 13ft area. Height clearance: 12 feet. This allows for a buffer and efficient storage.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is required. The area should be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and maintain air quality. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Clock movements are considered fragile items. Each piece must be individually wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in a sturdy cardboard box. Additional padding – such as foam or packing peanuts – is recommended for delicate components.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored using pallet racking (48” high) with a maximum pallet load of 500 lbs. Shelving units (adjustable shelves, 48” tall) can be used for smaller parts. Stackable boxes are essential for maximizing space.
