Storage Size/Dimensions: Minimum 200 square feet, 20ft x 10ft area, Height clearance: 10 feet. Dedicated storage for each colorant batch is required.
Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent buildup of fumes or vapors. Ensure the floor is level and constructed of a durable, easy-to-clean material (concrete or epoxy recommended).
Special Handling: Colorant batches are considered potentially fragile. All containers should be padded with appropriate foam or bubble wrap to prevent damage during handling and storage. Clearly label each container with the colorant name and batch number.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is ideal, utilizing standard 48” high pallets. Shelving units with adjustable shelves are acceptable, with a maximum shelf height of 72 inches. Ensure shelving is robust and designed to handle the weight of stacked containers.
