Storage Conditions: Dry storage is essential. The area must be well-ventilated to prevent dust accumulation and maintain a stable environment. Avoid direct sunlight exposure.
Special Handling: Tiles are considered fragile. Each tile should be individually wrapped in protective padding, such as bubble wrap or cardboard. Palletized stacks should be secured with shrink wrap to prevent shifting and damage.
Stacking/Shelving: Items can be stored in palletized stacks up to 5-high, utilizing standard 48” wide pallets. Adjustable shelving units with a maximum height of 8 feet are recommended for organized storage and to maximize vertical space.
Access Requirements: Loading dock: 12ft wide x 16ft long. Warehouse door width: 10 feet. A minimum clearance of 8 feet is needed around each pallet stack for forklift access. Ensure adequate aisle space of 8ft for maneuvering equipment. A secondary access door, 6ft wide, is advised for smaller deliveries.
