Storage Conditions: Dry storage, well-ventilated area. Items should be stored on pallets to prevent direct contact with the floor. Ensure the area is free from dust and debris.
Special Handling: Commercial lighting fixtures are generally fragile. Each fixture should be individually wrapped with protective padding – bubble wrap or foam. Palletize all fixtures securely. Use cardboard corner protectors.
Stacking/Shelving: Pallet storage is the recommended method. Shelving units (4ft high, adjustable) can be utilized to maximize vertical space for smaller components and accessories. Stacking height should be limited to no more than 4 pallets high for stability.
Access Requirements: Loading dock with a 12ft wide x 10ft deep access area. A standard 8ft wide access door is required. A clear space of 6ft x 8ft is needed for forklift maneuverability around the storage area. Ensure adequate aisle space for equipment movement.
